Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge and New Pretty Pink Posh

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I have a couple of things to share today. First the new Pretty Pink Posh May Release is now available! You can find all the new products HERE.

Secondly it's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Flutter. I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

I took inspiration from the pastel colors in the Inspiration Photo used the new Pretty Pink Posh Bold Blooms Stamp Set and Build A Bloom Coordinating Dies to create my card.

I love a pretty shaker card! First I created by background by blending Shaded Lilac and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and misting with water. Next I cut the circle to form the shaker with the Scallop Circles Dies, and added a layer of acetate and foam behind the circle.

I stamped, colored, and die cut flowers and leaves from the new Bold Blooms Stamp Set. The images are colored with Copic Markers and accented with a white gel pen. Inside the shaker I added a few of the stamped images and two new sequin mixes available this release, the Hydrangea Flowers Sequins Mix and the Mini Sparkling Clear Flower Sequins. These are so pretty!!

I stamped a sentiment from the new Thoughtful Greetings Stamp Set. I just love the font in Pretty Pink Posh Sentiment Sets!

Celebrate It's Your Big Day!

Hi! I am popping in today with a birthday card I created with products for Pretty Pink Posh in some happy spring colors! We had some really beautiful spring days here lately that really lift the spirit!

One of the things I love about Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets is that they are so versatile. This sweet balloon is from the Friends Forever Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic Markers and the die cut with the Friends Forever Coordinating Dies. To create the soft background I cut a panel of watercolor paper, sponged on Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass and Broken China, and then misted the paper with water.

The clouds are cut with the Stitched Borders 2 Dies and the frame with the Scallop Frames Dies. The sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set and the card is finished off with sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

Thanks for stopping by! I will be back next week with projects created with products from the Pretty Pink Posh May Release!

Pretty Packages

Hi All! I love a pretty package! Today I have a custom gift wrap project to share with you that I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the Friends Forever Stamp SetFriends Forever Coordinating Dies, and the Scallop Square Tags Dies to put my package together.

The wrapping paper was quick to create. I put the two roses from the Friends Forever Stamp Set on an acrylic blog and stamped with red ink on Kraft paper.

I cut the larger tag in the Scallop Square Tags Dies and added a soft background with a Clarity Stencil Brush and light yellow ink and then added a strip of green card stock. The stamped images are colored with Copic Markers and then die cut with the  Friends Forever Coordinating Dies. The sentiment is from the stamp set and the tag is finished off with sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Tulips

Thanks for stopping by today! It is time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Tulip. I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge using some products from Pretty Pink Posh

To create the look of a window I used the Storybook 5 Die. I used a Clarity Stencil Brush to get the soft yellow background. I added the Kraft strip, to look like a table inside the window, with the Stitched Borders 2 Dies. I used another die in the Stitched Borders 2 to add the curtain inside the window.

The vases and flowers are from the Friends Forever Stamp Set and die cut with the Friends Forever Coordinating Dies. The images are colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is included in the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set

Shaker Thank You Card

Hi Everyone! I have a pretty card to share today that I created with products from Pretty Pink Posh.  I like to have thank you cards in my stash, ready to go. And what better way to say thank you than a handmade card!

I sure am enjoying working with some pretty spring colors! Here I cut the card front from watercolor paper and used a blending took and distress ink in Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Wild Honey to create the background. I spritzed the paper with water and then splattered the paper with white paint.

In the center of the card front I used the Window Frames Dies to cut the shaker window. Behind the window I added clear acetate and foam to form the shaker. I stamped a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set and dropped in sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

I stamped the flowers from the Easter Blessings Stamp Set twice. I colored the images with Copic Markers and die cut with the Easter Blessings Coordinating Dies. I finished cutting out two of the flowers from the second die cut and added them to the top of the card. The border is cut with the Stitched Borders 2 Dies.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!!

It's release day at Taylored Expressions! All the new April products are available at the TE web store NOW.  I have two cards to share today showcasing a number of the new products.

My first card features the A Life She Loves Stamp Set and coordinating Dies, the Little Bits - Paintbrushes, and the Little Bits - Paint Pallet

I really love the A Life She Loves Stamp Set. This is a previously released stamp set that now has coordinating dies, A Life She Loves Dies. Not only do I love the stamped images, I love the sentiments in this set. The stamped mason jar is colored with Copic Markers and then die cut. I used Nuvo Crystal Drops to add paint to my pallet and paint brushes.

I adhered the jar to a panel of canvas and then a corrugated paper, both cut with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. The canvas and corrugated paper are splattered with a watercolor paint. The background is embossed with the Dotted Lattice Embossing Folder and the sentiment is from the stamp set.

For my second card I used the new Pitcher Vase Die to create the shaker. The die has two parts, the pitcher and a die to cut the center of the pitcher out. I used the pitcher die to cut a pitcher from a clear plastic sheet and a pitcher from Salt Water Taffy Card Stock. The I cut the pitcher with the center cut out 4 times from Sugar Cube Card Stock.

Here is how I layered my die cuts to foam the shaker. Behind one of the Pitcher with the cut out I attached the Clear Plastic Sheet pitcher and then the other 3 pitchers with the cut out. Then I dropped in the sequins and then coved the back with the Salt Water Taffy Pitcher.

The flowers are created with the new Mini Bloomers 2, Bloomer 6, and Bloomers 5 and the leaves are cut with a die in the Bloomers Greenery. I added Enamel Shapes in Jelly Donut, Lemon Meringue, and Sugar Cube to the the center of the flowers.

The  background is embossed on vellum with the new Quatrefoil Embossing Folder and then I machine stitched the vellum to Salt Water Taffy Card Stock. The sentiment is from the new Simply Stamped - Butterflies Stamp Set.
