Coffee & Friends

Hi Friends! I am kicking off spring by playing along with the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This hop is full of great inspiration and prizes! You can find all the details here.

Here's my take on the challenge. I created the coffee cup and the spoon with a Enjoy Coffee Die Bundle from Maya Road. I added a detail to the spoon with an embossing folder and distress ink. The leaves are cut from felt and the Wood Token and Small Vintage Paper Flowers in White is also from Maya Road.

The coffee cup is layered on a circle cut with the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and the sentiment is from the Reverse Confetti Be A Barista Stamp Set. The card is finished off with a few 4mm Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Celebrate! It's Your Day

Hi Friends! Today I have a card to share using some of the new products from Pretty Pink Posh. I have been home sick for the last week! I very rarely ever get sick but a sinus infection and bronchitis knocked me out! The only upside, I got some extra time for creating in studio.

I created this card with the Friends Forever Stamp Set and the Friends Forever Coordinating Dies.  I colored the stamped images with Copic Markers. Next I used the Stitched Notes Dies to create the card front. I cut the inner panel from watercolor paper and the outside frame from patterned paper.

I used distress ink and a scalloped mask to create the sky with a few clouds. The sentiment from the stamp set is stamped in a white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The fence is cut with the Picket Fence Die and I finished off the card with the new Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Hi All! It's the 15th of March and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Fluff.

I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge. I took inspiration from the pillows and created this card with the Sit & Chat Stamp Set from Taylored Expressions

The couch and lamp are die with the Sit & Chat Dies. All the patterned paper is from the Simple Stories 6x8 Paper Pad - Domestic Bliss

I created the window in the card with Build a Scene - Window Die. The sentiment is from the stamp set.

Pretty Cards with Maya Road Dies

Hi! I have two cards to share with you that I created with some fun Maya Road Dies. Maya Road Dies are one of my favorite MR products! They are so creative, can be used over and over, and work with so many of your crafting projects. Tags, cards scrapbook pages, so many possibilities! And this month Maya Road Dies are on sale!

I love the Typewriter Die! Definitely one of my favorites! I cut the base of the typewriter twice, once from aqua card stock and once from gold card stock. I punched out the die cut keys on the aqua card stock and layered the gold card stock behind it. I used the die set to cut the words "write on" and the sheet of paper in the typewriter. This particular die is a new release and should be available from Maya Road by the end of the month.

Behind the typewriter I used theNotebook Paper Die to cut the notepaper. I finished off the card with a Wood Hashtag Token, an Antique Wood Ruler, a Small Vintage Paper Flower in Red, and a Vintage Ken Oliver Art Supplies metal accent.

For my second card I used the new Flower Die. This die is also a new release and should be available from Maya Road by the end of the month. First I created by background. I used a piece of watercolor paper and blended distress inks together. I misted the paper with water and then splattered on white paint.

I die cut each flower twice and layered them together. I used the dies in the set to cut the leaves, the center of the flowers, and the word "bloom". I also added a Resin Mini Mums in Turquoise Sea and a owl.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to take a look at all the Maya Road Dies. They are 25% off with coupon code DIESOFMARCH.  You can find them all here!

Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop!!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop for the March Release! You should have hopped here from Heather Hoffman Blog. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop you can start at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

I have a few projects to share with you today that I created with some of the new products.

First up is an Easter card created with the new Easter Friends Stamp Set and the Easter Friends Coordinating Dies. All the sweet stamped images are colored with Copic Markers.

To create the background I sponged distress ink on watercolor paper and then spritzed the paper with water. I cut the hill with one of the Scallop Borders Dies

PPP has such innovative dies and new Stitched Notes Dies is just so creative! I used the new die to cut out and mat my card front and to cut that great pocket in the card front. At the top I added a few die cut clouds with the Rainy Days Coordinating Dies. I finished the card off with a few sequins from the new Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix. I love these, clear and no hole in the middle!

My next project features the new Easter Blessings Stamp Set. I love the simple elegance of this set. I die cut the image with the Easter Blessings Coordinating Dies. I used one of the  Stitched Notes Dies  to cut the white triangle and then adhered the image to a tag cut with the new Scallop Square Tags Dies

The sentiment is from the Easter Blessings Stamp Set and the sequins from two new sequin mixes, the 6mm Fresh Garden Sequins Mix and the 4mm Fresh Garden Sequins Mix

And here's a look at my coordinating tag and another image from the  Easter Blessings Stamp Set

Be sure to leave comments on each stop. Paulina is  giving away 4 $25 gift certificates to four random comments (2 winners each day) left before March 17, 2017 at 11:59 PM PST. Here is the list of the designers sharing project today! Now it's time to hop on over to Crystal Thompson's Blog!

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions

It's release day at Taylored Expressions! All the new March products are available at the TE web store NOW.  I have two cards to share today showcasing a number of the new products.

My first card features the new Door to Door 2 Dies and Door to Door Sentiments

The Door to Door 2 Dies are an addition to the TE Door to Door product line. My cards uses a mix of the new products and previously released dies. (See links below) What is special about the Door to Door 2 Die is that the door can be opened! Here I used the Door to Door Molding Die around the door and added the door mat, rain boots, birdhouse and wreath.

Here's a look at the door open and a sentiment for the Door to Door Sentiments Stamp Set.

For my second project I created a little house with the new Home Sweet Home and Home Sweet Home Accessories Dies. I cut the base out twice to form the house. Then I ran the home pieces through my die cutting machine again this time embossing with the Brick Embossing Folder.

I added all the details before I assembled the house, using the Home Sweet Home Accessories to add curtains, flowers, and greenery. Behind the windows I added vellum and Potato Chip Cardstock.
