A Pretty Happy Birthday

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I created a card for the Power Poppy July Challenge. This month the challenge is to B Happy!  Search and find things that start with B and make them the focus of your card!

Here's my take on the challenge. I went with berries, birthdays, and blue.

The pretty, stamped image is from the Power Poppy Go Wild Stamp Set. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I cut the front card panel from watercolor paper. I inked the panel with three blue distress inks and splattered the panel with water and white paint.

The sentiment is also from the Go Wild Stamp Set. Lastly I added a few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

Have a good week!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Unicorn

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog!  It is time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Unicorn.

I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge. I didn't have any unicorns in my stash so I took inspiration from the colors in the inspiration photo, using some pretty products from Maya Road

I cut two doilies with the Vintage Doilies Steel Dies and layered them under the card stock. I watercolored the tags with a mix of pinks and peaches. I loving this color combo!

I used two metal embellishments from Maya Road, the Hello Clip and the Embossed Metal Leaf. I wanted the metal to be gold so I embossed the metal with gold embossing powder. I added a Felt Rose in Fuchsia Pink, a token from the Wood Hey Girl Tokens, a two Resin Mini Mums in Porcelain Pink. I finished the card off with gold sequins for Pretty Pink Posh

I love having handmade tags in my stash! I got the chance to play along with the Tag You're It! Challenge #51 this weekend.

After I die cut the tag I sponged the background a pale yellow dye ink and then stenciled the sun rays. I stamped a sentiment and the bee from the Mama Elephant Potted Pretties Stamp Set. I added a little color to the bee with Copic Markers.

I stamped the strawberry image from the Mama Elephant Potted Pretties Stamp Set, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut the image with the coordinating Potted Pretties - Creative Cuts. The clear sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh

Here is the inspiration for my tag.

Celebrate - Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to all my US Friends!! I have a patriotic themed card to share that I created with the Taylored Expressions Door to Door Die Collection, perfect for this day of celebration.

The Door to Door Roof is a new die that has been added to the Door to Door collection. I cut the roof from Toffee Card Stock and highlighted the roof embossing with Copic Markers. The base of the card is embossed with the Bead Board Embossing Folder.

The door and steps are cut with the Door to Door Die, and the wreath with the Door to Door Decor. The bird, birdhouse, bow, and flower pot are cut with the new Door to Door Summer Decor. The sentiment is from the Simply Stamped - Daisies Stamp Set.

Have a wonderful day! Here are the products I used to created my card.

CASology Week 204 Challenge: Row

Today I am playing along with the CASology Week 204 Challenge: Row. I will admit that CAS cards can be the hardest for me. I have to fight that urge to add one more thing! But I love the look of a well done CAS card and there is so much inspiration out there. I am always inspired by my good friend, Jacquie, who is on the CASology Design Team. She is just so creative.

Using the word ROW as inspiration I decided to line up these paint tubes in a row. The stamp set is from W Plus 9 Color My World. I stamped the tube in the middle first, masked it off, and then stamped the other two paint tubes and the paint brush.

I images are colored with Copic Markers and I finished the card off with three enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by!!
