So I know we are still getting ready for Christmas, but as a designer we are always planning ahead! This month's release is all about Valentines and telling someone special how much you love them!
My first card features the new Brushed Hearts Background. I stamped background in Sugar Cube Ink and embossed with white embossing powder and sponged the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink. Then I used the Heart Stacklets and Stitched Heart Stacklets to cut a heart directly in the card front and mat the heart in Oreo card stock.
In the center of the heart I stamped a sentiment from the All You Need is Love Stamp Set, which I love! There are so many great sentiments in this set! I finished off the card with the new Little Bits - Record and Love Notes Dies. I add Glossy Accents to the hearts on the Love Notes.
My second card features the new How Sweet It Is Stamp Set and the Loopy Loop Embossing Folder. I embossed the card front with the folder and then cut a circle directly into the card front. Inside the circle I created a scene with the Little Bits Sun and Clouds and the Build a Scene Rolling Hills Die. I stamped a sentiment from the How Sweet It Is Stamp Set and used the new Loved Script Die to add the word sentiment.
I used the new Little Bits - Tandem Bike to finish off the scene. And then I couldn't get this song lyric out of my head for two days!
