Have a Beautiful Day!

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a good weekend. I didn't have much time in my studio this week but I did get a chance to play along with the Essentials by Ellen June Pin-Sights Challenge. It was the prefect opportunity to play with my new Mondo Magnolia Stamp Set.

Isn't this flower pretty! I stamped the flower three time in Gold Delicata Ink on watercolor paper and embossing with gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored each section of the flower with Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints. The slight shimmer is added with one of the paints in the set.

The sentiment is included in the Mondo Magnolia Stamp Set.  The sentiment is stamped on vellum and then I added colored card stock behind the vellum.

I cut the flower out with the three dies included in the Mondo Magnoilia Designer Dies and layered the sections of the flower.

I added additional embellishments to finish off the card. The doily and leaf stick pins are from Maya Road, the flowers from Prima, the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

Hey There, Friend

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I finally got a chance to play along with June's Sketch For You to Try, over at the Reverse Confetti Blog. Can you believe it is almost July already!

I am using a couple of different stamp sets and dies to create this card. The flowers and leaves are stamped with the Love Blooms Stamp Set, one of my favs, and die cut with the Love Blooms Confetti Cuts

I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper and embossed with a white embossing powder. I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints. For the leaves I just watercolored with a two green paints, let my paper dry, and die cut the leaves.

The sentiment and embossed circle is from the Circle Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts. I finished the card off with lace and a few sequins.

Have a good weekend!!

A Pretty Hello

Hi! I hope you have been having a good week! I am so looking forward to the weekend. June is not my favorite month at work; it's our fiscal year end and my brain is on overload!

I did get a chance to play along with this week Paper Smooches SPARKS June Picture Perfect Challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge. I die cut a number of the Ring Trio Die die from white card stock and layered them on a white card front. Next I inlayed patterned paper and vellum into the circles.

The frame is cut with the Frame 3 Die and I stamped a sentiment from the Gently Seasoned Two Stamp Set in gold ink and embossed with gold embossing powder on vellum. A few gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and gold twine finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday Dad

Before I head back into the work week I thought I would share this masculine birthday card I made over the weekend. I am playing along with the Make It Masculine Challenge over at the Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog.

First I stamped a sentiment for Paper Smooches Daddy Yo Stamp Set in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink and embossing with a gold embossing powder. The mustache is also from Paper Smooches, Mustaches Wise Dies. I cut the mustache twice, once from chipboard and again with black card stock. I adhered the layers together and then added a coat of Glossy Accents

Next I created the layers of circles with some products from Simon Says Falling for You Collection, Circle Sayings Stamp Set and the Dots Circles Wafter Thin dies.

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great week!
