Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks - Simply Stamped Pinecones

Welcome to Day 1 of Taylored Expressions October Release Sneak Peeks! This release is all about getting ready for the Holidays! I am sharing a project today that I created with the new Simply Stamped Pinecones Stamp Set and the coordinating Simply Stamped Pinecones Dies

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Aren't these Pinecone pretty!  The larger Pinecones in the set are created by layering four stamps. The fourth stamp adds a layer of snow. I stamped the snow with white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped the evergreen branches on Toffee Card Stock and splattered white paint.

The sentiment is also from the stamp set. The patterned paper is from the Simple Stories Claus & Co 6x6 Pad.

I used the new Stitched Circle Stacklets to cut the circles. The snowflakes are die cut with the new Little Bits Snowflakes.

All the new products will be released on Thursday, the  1st of October at 7 AM PST.

If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of all our participating Designers HERE!

Happy Hello

Today I have a "Happy" card to share! I used a number of new products from the Taylored Expressions September Release.

I cut the card front from Sugar Cube Card Stock and then cut a rectangle directly into the card front and matted the frame. Then I used the Graphic Impressions - Birthday Embossing Folder to add pattern and texture.

Inside the frame I stamped a sentiment from the new C'mon Get Happy Stamp Set

I added the banners with the new Skinny Mini Party Borders Dies. The flowers are created with TE Felt with the Bloomers 3 Dies and the leaves are cut with the Bloomers Greenery Dies.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Thankful Hello

Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a nice weekend. I am so ready for Fall! We've had a hot summer here in San Diego, breaking all kinds of records! With Fall in mind I created a card inspired by the Reverse Confetti September Sketch For You to Try

I kept the card front simple, just embossing the kraft card front and adding a little pattern with papers from the Carta Bella Fall Blessing Collection.

The center embellishment is put together with a Reverse Confetti Stamps and Dies. The flowers and leaves are from the Love Blooms Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Love Blooms Confetti Cuts. The flowers are colored with Copic Makers and I highlighted the centers with a black gel pen.

The sentiment is cut with the Hello Confetti Cuts, cutting directly in the kraft circle and then inlaying the patterned paper. The scallop circle is cut with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I finished off with a few gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

Thank You

Hi and thanks for stopping by today. I have a card to share that I created with the Neat & Tangled Hand Stitched Stamp Set and the Hoop Die. I guess it is my sewing background, but I had to have that die!

Inspiration for the color theme comes from the Gold and Mint color challenge on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog.  What a pretty color combination!

For the card front I used a piece of mint card stock and stamped the background with the cross stitch stamp and added a strip of gold striped acetate down the side.

The images inside the embroidery hoop I stamped in gold ink and then heat embossed with gold embossing paste. The coloring is done with Copic Markers. The sequins are from the Champagne Shaker Mix.

Thanks for taking a look!

Sending You Smiles

It's September 15th and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Here's my take on the challenge. I drew inspiration from the colors in the inspiration photo.

I stamped the background on the card with the Wood Plank Background Stamp from My Favorite Things. Next I added a panel of corrugated paper.

The background behind the flower is watered colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paints.

The sunflower is stamped with the Clearly Besotted Sunshine & Smiles Stamp Set and die cut with the Sunshine & Smiles Die Collection. The flower is colored with Copic Makers. I highlighted the center of the flower with a white gel pen and added dew drops with Glossy Accents.

The sentiment is from the  Sunshine & Smiles Stamp Set and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you get a change to play along!

Celebrating You

Happy Friday! I have a fun shaker birthday card to share today that I created with a few new products from Taylored Expressions.

I started by using the Presents Cutting Plate to from the base of the shaker. The die set also includes dies to add paper behind the presents. I used paper from the new Hello Happiness 6x6 Paper Pack and card stock to add the pattern and texture behind the presents.

Next I added a piece of clear acetate and foam tape behind the frame to form the shaker.

The sentiment is added with the One & Only You stamp and die set, free with a $50 purchase through September 13th.

Before I adhered the frame and card front together I dropping in some Hello Happiness Sequins.

Have a great weekend! Here are the products I used to create my card.
