Dream

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! I have been working on a scrapbook for one of daughters and playing with lot of Prima Products. When I went to put everything away and looked at all the pretty scraps on my desk and decided to make a card inspired by the July Prima Product Picks Challenge.

I stamped the Butterfly 3 Stamp in a black pigment ink and heat embossed with a clear embossing powder. Then I watercolored the butterfly with Kuretake Gamsai Tami Watercolor Paints

I added some Prima embellishments to finish off the card, pretty, small flowers, a paper clip, and chipboard and wooden embellishments. Love the pretty color combo!

Have a good week!

Thanks So Much

Happy Friday! I am looking forward to the weekend! Tomorrow I am going for the final day of wedding dress shopping for my daughter Lisa. By tomorrow afternoon we will have said YES to the dress!

I do have a card to share today. I am playing along with the Picture Perfect challenge over at the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog.

I starting by stamping a variety of flowers from the Paper Smooches  Botanicals 3 Stamp Set and then cut them out with the coordinating Botanicals 3 Icons Dies. I added a little shading to the flowers with Prisma Colored Pencils and added rhinestones to the centers.

The leaves are also cut with the Botanicals 3 Icons Dies from felt. The sentiment if from the Salutations
Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Birthday Wishes - July SFYTT

Hi and thanks for stopping by today. I am going to a pool/barbecue birthday party this weekend and I wanted to make a fun, summery birthday card for the occasion. For inspiration I used the July Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try and the Pineapples Aplenty Stamp Set.

I stamped the pineapples in the Pineapples Aplenty Stamp Set and die cut them with the coordinating Pineapple Aplenty Confetti Cuts. After I stamped the pineapples I added a little shading with Prism Colored Pencils.

The polka dot panel is from the Pina Colada Quick Card Panels

The sentiment is from the Circle Sentiments Stamp Set and the frame is cut with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I added a circle of acetate behind the frame. foam tape to form the shaker, and some pretty sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

Have a fun and creative weekend!

Sending Thanks

Hi there! I got a chance this weekend to ink up a new stamp set I bought from Avery Elle and play along with the AEI♥U Challenge #26–Sparkle

I love the pretty flowers in the Peonies Clear Stamps Set! I started by creating the background for card front with the Tim Holtz Latticework Stencil and Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink Pad.

I since I can't get enough of my Kuretake Gamsai Tami Watercolor Paints I decided to watercolor the pretty flowers and leaves. I stamped them in white ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. Once the paint had dried I die cut the flowers and leaves with the coordinating Peonies Elle-ments

I used the vase die in the Peonies Elle-ments to cut the shape directly into the card stock. I added acetate  behind the card stock and then dropped in some clear Pretty Pink Posh Sequins to add some sparkle. The sentiment is included in the Peonies Clear Stamps Set, stamped Delicate Gold Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder on vellum.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good week!

Happy Birthday

Happy Friday! I have a another birthday card to share today. I am working on building up my birthday card stash again and I had to play along with the Essentials by Ellen July Mix It Up Challenge with Paper Smooches because I love both of their products.

The flowers are created with the Essentials by Ellen Bohemian Garden Stamp Set and coordinating Bohemian Garden Dies. I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper in white ink and embossed with a white embossing powder. Then I used Kuretake Gamsai Tami Watercolor Paints to watercolor the flowers.

I used a few Paper Smooches products to complete the card. The frame is cut with the Frame 3 Die. The sentiment is from the Birthday Bash Stamp Set and stamped in a gold ink and embossed with gold embossing powder on vellum. The paisleys are cut with my new Paisleys Dies that I love! The finishing touch is a few gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

The background pattern is created with the Tim Holtz Latticework Stencil.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015 - July - Remember

Happy 4th of July to all my friends in the states!! Before I head off to celebrate with family and friends I thought I would pop in quick and share my tag I created for the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015

Since I don't own the stamp set Tim used on this tag I went through my Tim Holtz stash of products and pulled together anything I thought might work for the tag. This is what I came up with!

I started with a Number 8 Manila Tag and covered it with a patterned paper from the Menagerie 8 x 8 Paper Pad and distress the edges. I added an eyelet and ribbon at the top along with a star from the Tim Holtz - Idea-ology - Adornments, Souvenir. I added a strip of Tim Holtz cork and the word remember from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Friendship Words Script Thinlits Dies

The word stickers are from the Seasonal Pad and I added USA with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Alpha Tiles.   Glory is a Tim Holtz Flashcard.

At the bottom I used the Wave Frameworks Die and inlayed papers from the Menagerie 8 x 8 Paper Pad. The Mirrored Stars and the Mini Numeral 4 are altered with Antique Linen Paint. I used the Distress Marker Spritzer Tool and a Chipped Sapphire Distress Marker to add a light spray over the tag.

Have a great day!!!

Happy Birthday!!

It's July 1st and time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

To celebrate the Curtain Call's third anniversary, the Celebrate challenge will run the entire month of July!  The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

And here's my take on the challenge!

You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash! I created this one with the Die-namics Balloon STAX. I die cut the center of the largest ballon to create a shaker. I matted the shaker with black card stock stamped with the Happy Birthday Background Stamp, stamping in Gold Delicata Ink and embossing with gold embossing powder. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh and I added a piece of acetate between the layers.

The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Salutations Stamp Set and the flowers are from Maya Road. The patterned paper is from the Fancy Pants Office Suite 6 x 6 Paper Pad.
