Thanks for stopping by for another day of MFT's December Release Countdown. Six more days until Release Day!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.
Today I have monogrammed card set to share using Mona's new stamp set, Damask Designs, and the coordinating Damask Designs Die-namics.
I think monogrammed sets make wonderful gifts. You can each make each card the same or very the design, like I did in this set.
For each card I stamped the largest damask stamp in black ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used the new Negative Dot Alphabet Die-namics for the letter "M", cut the white circle with the Circle STAX Die-namics and the doily with the Dainty Doily in the Mini Doily Circles Die-namics.
On this card I embossed the background with the Swiss Dots Die-namics. The fishtail is cut with the Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics from MFT Felt in Black Licorice.
On this card I added the border with the Double Dots Border Die-namics, again using MFT Felt in Black Licorice.
The background on this card with stamped with the border of the damask design, included in the stamp set, in Grape Jelly Ink. Then I added a piece of MFT Ribbon in Black Licorice.
Here I used one of the smaller damask stamps in the set, stamping in Sno Cone Ink.
On the inside of each card I stamped the damask border, leaving plenty of room to write a note.
