MFT July Teaser Day 1

It's July! And time for the MFT July Teasers to begin!! Today's previews include Fred Bear Takes a Hike, You Move Me, and Clearly Sentimental about the Journey. You can stop by Kim's Blog to see the list of designers sharing project today.

I am using the fun new stamp and die set You Move Me. The possibilities are endless!!

My papers are My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly a Kite. I used the frame die, included in the set, to cut out the cloud paper and a strip of the green paper. Then I stamped the scooter in red and cut it out with the coordinated die. So cute!! Then I stamped one of the sentiments from the set.

My bottom border is made with the new Solid Bracket Border die. I added Bakers Twine in Honeydew and a button.

I just love the little scooter!

On the inside I used the frame again and used stamps from the set.

I am back today with two more sneak peaks to share with you. First up is Hello A la Carte. The stamp is illustrated by Nancy McKinney.

I stamped "HELLO" with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and colored with Copics. I cut the sentiment out  and added a strip of DP to the bottom.

Then I cut four scalloped borders out four different papers using the Medium Scallop Border Die. I staggered the scallops. I added machine stitching, twine, and a button to finish off the card.

I also added a rhinestone the the center of the phone. My papers are My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Life of the Party

My second card features Birds of a Feather, a full sized set that includes 21 images and sentiments. The set is illustrated by Nancy McKinney as part of the Whimsical Wishes line. My card also used the Birds & Branch Taylored Die Set. I am so excited about a branch die! It can be used with the stamp, or on its own, and can be used with many other TE stamps sets.

First I stamped the bird card on my DP in Lady Bug Memento Ink. Then I stamped the branch in Memento Rich Cocoa and used the branch die to cut it out. I cut two birds from red cardstock.

I used the Medium Scallop Die for the border that goes down the side. I added a sentiment from the stamp set, ribbon, stitching, and lace.

I stamped four red flowers with one of the stamps in the set and added red rhinestones to the center of the flowers. Then I glued the birds to each side of the cage. My papers are from Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends.

I am very excited to be here today with my first post as a member of the Bakers Dozen! My first card uses the new In The Clouds stamp set , the Cloud Border Die, and the Blimps & Banner Dies.  This stamp set is just so cute and fun and all Taylor's stamps are from top quality deeply etched rubber in a cute shade of pink and come on EZ Mount already trimmed and ready to use with your acrylic blocks.

In the Clouds is illustrated by Nancy McKinney as part of the Whimsical Wishes line. For my card I stamped the blimps , colored them with Copics and cut them out with the blimp dies. I used one of the banner dies that I cut from my DP and stamped one of the sentiments included in the set.

For my clouds I cut out two borders with the Cloud Border Die, ran them though my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder, and then I sponged ink on the edges of the clouds.

I stamped the hearts from the stamp set behind the smaller blimp. My papers are from Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly a Kite. I added some machine stitching and twine to finish off my card.

My next card uses Life is Circus and the Star Border Die. Life is a Circus is illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink line. Life is a Circus is a full sized set on a 5.75" x 8.5" full color sturdy storage panel and  includes 17 images.

I colored my lion with Copics and cut him out. I stamped the tent and then paper pieced the it. The inside of the tent is colored with Copics and I sponged the background. .

My lion is popped up with dimensional dots. I stamped the ticket stamp from the set and cut it out.

I added one of the sentiments from the set, colored it with Copics and cut it out with a circle punch. The sentiments in this set  give you lots of options for both kid and adult cards. My paper area from Echo Park Dots & Stripes Metropolitan Collection.

Taylored Expressions June Key Ingredients - A Gift For You

I have a fun birthday set to share with you today that I made with this month's Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit. I also want to share the details on a great promotion Taylor is running through the end of the month!

If you are not a current Key Ingredients Subscriber, now is a great time to join the monthly kit club!  You will have so much fun creating with all the coordinating elements right at your fingertips! Perhaps you've been sitting on the fence thinking about it for awhile. And if all the regular subscriber benefits aren't enough, we might have just the Special Offer you need to take the plunge!

Here is what is included in this month's kit!

With the kit I made this sweet little birthday gift for my daughter to give one of her friends.

For my card I used one of the new Moka stamps, Olivia. She is pretty darn cute! She is colored with Copics and I added black gel pen to the black dots on her gift bag. For my Happy Birthday sentiment I used the It's a Banner Day 1 stamp set and the Banner Day 1 die.

Then I cut three rows of scallops with the Medium Scallop Die for my bottom border and staggered the scallops.

I used one of Taylor's Clear Purse Boxes to hold the birthday gift. It is hard to get a great picture of the purse since it is clear but it is just so cute in person!

To make my tag I cut out the shape of the tag in cardstock and then covered it with some of the DP in the kit. I added a few more scallops and then used the It's In the Bag stamp set and the Shopping Bag and Labels die set to make the gift bag that I attached to my bag.

Thanks for stopping by!
